Maria Osipova

On September 20, 1943, at a huge risk to her life, Osipova delivered a mine with a chemical fuse from a partisan detachment to Minsk in a basket of lingonberries and handed it over to Mazanik. The explosion of this mine, laid under the mattress of the bed in the bedroom of Cuba, on the night of September 22, 1943, the General Commissar of Belarus was killed.
